Cold-Cured Foam

The Same Support in Year Four as on Day One

High-density foam moulded under pressure holds its shape where cut foam flattens in months. Firm where the hips sit, softer where the thighs rest: the difference between a chair for a two-hour session and a chair for a working day. Standard on APEX and NEO, seat and backrest.

Upholstery

A Million Abrasion Cycles Without Peeling

Certified Past 200,000 Cycles

Softer, More Breathable Fabric

Peeling is why most chairs get thrown out. Endura™ Nappa Leatherette is certified by TÜV SÜD past 1,000,000 abrasion cycles, fifty times a standard PU. It is fire rated and stands up to sweat, UV and scratches. It still breathes, and it wipes clean.

NEO is upholstered in NeoTex™ PU Leatherette, certified past 200,000 abrasion cycles. It breathes and wipes clean, like the covers on APEX.

The APEX Fabric Series wears EnduraWeave™ Fabric, a high thread-count weave that is softer and breathes more freely. It is rated alongside Endura™ Nappa for abrasion, and it wipes clean too.

Armrests

Every Direction Locks With a Button

Height on a Button, the Rest by Hand

Height, forward and back, side to side, rotation. On APEX each movement locks with a button, so the armrest stays exactly where you set it. It sits on a shadow chrome base, and the pads are replaceable.

On NEO the height locks with a button. You set forward and back, side to side and rotation by moving the pad with deliberate force, so nothing shifts when you lean on it. The base is metal, and the pads are replaceable.

Lumbar Support

ErgoSync™ Lives Inside the Backrest

A Memory-Foam Lumbar Pillow

One knob sets the depth, the other sets the height, and together they fit the support to anyone from 5'5" to 6'4".

NEO ships with a memory-foam lumbar pillow that supports the curve of your back. Its shape is fixed, but you can move it up or down, or take it out.

Multi-Tilt Mechanism

Lean Back to 135°, Rock to 30°

The Same Mechanism as APEX

The backrest reclines to 135° and the seat tilts to 30°, with a lever that locks at any angle between. Lean back for a call or rock through a match, then lock it upright for work.

You lean on this part all day, so NEO gets the identical mechanism. The backrest reclines to 135°, the seat tilts to 30°, and the lever locks wherever you stop.

AeroMag™ Neck Pillow

Frame and Base

Stainless Steel on Aluminium Alloy

Stainless Steel on Reinforced Metal

A stainless steel frame rated to 150 kg rides on an ADC12 aluminium alloy wheelbase, 700 mm across. The class 4 gas lift is BIFMA certified with 8 cm of travel, and 60 mm PU casters roll quietly on wood, tile and carpet.

NEO keeps the stainless steel frame, rated to 150 kg, and sets it on a reinforced metal wheelbase, also 700 mm across. It shares the class 4 gas lift, BIFMA certified with 8 cm of travel, and the 60 mm PU casters that roll quietly on wood, tile and carpet.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between APEX and NEO?

The leatherette, the lumbar, the armrest locks and the base. APEX has Endura™ Nappa leatherette (1,000,000 abrasion cycles, fire rated), the ErgoSync™ 4D inbuilt lumbar, button-locked 4D armrests on a shadow chrome base and an ADC12 aluminium alloy wheelbase, with a 3-year warranty plus 2 more years when you register it with a review. NEO has NeoTex™ leatherette (200,000 cycles), a memory-foam lumbar pillow, 4D armrests with a height button and a metal wheelbase, with a 1-year warranty plus 2 more years when you register it with a review. Frame, foam, pillow, mechanism, gas lift and weight rating are identical.

Why does NEO cost less than APEX?

NEO is the same frame, foam, mechanism and gas lift as APEX at a lower price, because the leatherette is rated to 200,000 cycles instead of 1,000,000 and the lumbar is a pillow instead of the adjustable system.

Which Cybeart chair is best for tall or heavy people?

Either. Both are rated to 150 kg and sized for 5'5" to 6'4", with 52 cm of usable seat depth. Choose APEX if you want the lumbar to adjust, NEO if a pillow suits you.

Will the leatherette peel?

Endura™ Nappa is certified by TÜV SÜD past 1,000,000 abrasion cycles and NeoTex™ past 200,000. A standard PU leather is tested to about 20,000. Peeling is the coating separating from the backing, which is what the abrasion test measures.

How hard is assembly?

The mechanism and gas lift come fitted. You attach the backrest, the armrests, the base and the casters with the tools in the box. Two people make the backrest step easier.

What does the warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects in the frame, mechanism, gas lift, base, casters, upholstery and foam: 3 years on APEX and 1 year on NEO, plus 2 more years on either when you register the chair with a review. Normal wear is not covered.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 30 days in the original box. The returns policy explains collection.

Is it an office chair or a gaming chair?

Both. The ergonomics, the fire-rated upholstery and the BIFMA testing are office grade. The silhouette and the licensed editions are for the setup.
